What you can expect from Vixnap, and what Vixnap expects from you.

Vixnap is a product of VICXELCODE, S.L., Spanish tax number B25961590, registered at calle Doctor Casares 164, Monforte de Lemos (Lugo), Spain. You can reach us at hi@vicxelcode.com about anything to do with the service.
By downloading the app, creating an account or subscribing, you accept these terms.
Capturing, annotating, copying and saving run on your machine, with no account and no expiry. There is no watermark and no cap on screenshots.
An account is only needed for what happens on our servers: uploading a screenshot, sharing it by link, syncing your history or subscribing to a paid plan.
To create an account you must be at least 14 and give a valid email address. You are responsible for what happens from your account and for keeping your credentials safe; tell us as soon as you suspect someone else got in.
You can close your account whenever you want from your dashboard. You can also ask us for a copy of your data or for its deletion.
Paid plans are subscriptions that renew on their own, monthly or yearly as you choose, until you cancel. Prices are shown including the VAT that applies in your country.
Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Your invoice reaches you by email and is available in your dashboard.
You can cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for: you keep the plan until that date and you are not charged again.
If we change prices, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance, and the new price will only apply to renewals after that notice.
If you subscribe as a consumer in the European Union, you have 14 calendar days to withdraw without giving a reason.
One exception comes from the law itself: if you ask for the digital service to start immediately and expressly accept that you therefore lose the right of withdrawal, you can no longer exercise it once it has started. We ask you this at checkout.
To withdraw, an email is enough. We refund to the same payment method within 14 days at most.
Your screenshots, your videos and your annotations are yours. We do not use them for anything other than providing the service, and we do not train models on them.
So that we can host them and show them to whoever opens your link, you grant us a licence limited to exactly that: storing them, copying them for technical reasons and displaying them to whoever you decide. It ends when you delete the content or close your account.
Illegal content, or content that infringes other people’s rights; personal data of third parties without their permission; sexual material involving minors; malware; or content meant to harass, impersonate or deceive.
The service may not be used to distribute files at scale beyond the purpose of the tool, nor to work around the limits of your plan.
Anyone who opens a link can report it from that page. We review reports and remove whatever breaks these terms or the law.
If we remove something of yours we tell you and explain why, unless the law requires otherwise. You can reply to that decision by writing to us.
The app returns to the free plan and keeps capturing, annotating, copying and saving forever. What is on your disk is yours and is not touched.
Links you shared keep working for another 30 days, so we do not break the work of the people you gave them to. Your cloud content is kept for 90 days and your dashboard stays available read-only, with a notice of the deletion date. After those 90 days it is really deleted, and we email you twice beforehand.
A failed payment is not a cancellation: while the payment provider retries, the service stays active and we tell you so you can fix it.
We do our best to keep the service up, but we do not promise it will never fail. There will be maintenance, and we will announce it in advance when it is foreseeable.
The desktop app is built to work offline: if our servers go down, you can carry on capturing and annotating.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms seriously or repeatedly, or where the law requires it. Except in urgent cases, we warn you first and give you a chance to put it right.
A suspended account keeps local use of the app: capturing and annotating still work.
We are liable for damage we cause by breaching these terms, within the limits the law allows. We are not liable for the loss of content that only existed on our servers if you kept no copy, nor for what other people do with links you share.
None of the above limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.
We may update them to reflect changes in the service or in the law. If a change is significant we will tell you by email or inside the app at least 30 days in advance, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence and may go to the courts where you live.
Before that, write to us: most things get sorted by email. You can also use the European online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
